Learn about St. Augustine's History
The Neighborhood Council of St. Augustine will present a free three part series on four National Register Historic Districts: The Town Plan, Lincolnville, Nelmar Terrace and Fullerwood. Made possible through a grant from The Community Foundation of Northeast Florida.
The presentations will be Tuesday evenings at 7 pm in the Flagler Room at Flagler College.
• January 14 2020 The Town Plan Historic District will be presented by Dr. Susan Parker
• January 28 2020 Lincolnville Historic District will be presented by David Nolan
• February 11 2020 Nelmar Terrace and Fullerwood Historic Districts will be presented by Dr. Leslee Keys
Learn the stories behind the diverse architecture and interesting past residents from all walks of life.
Through the grant the council plans to continue the series next year on the other three districts: Flagler Model Land; Abbott Tract; and North City, as well as Davis Shores and Lighthouse Park, which are being considered as potential Historic Districts.
